Due in expansion; MFH Contract Engineering Services have opportunities for self employed mechanical fitters for ongoing engineering maintenance and project support work in the Coventry and Birmingham UK areas.

MFH provide a wide range of support services to clients that have a need for electrical and engineering maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance packages for site equipment and machinery, outage and shutdown repair work, and equipment and machinery moving and relocation.

Offering competitive rates of pay; short, medium, and long term (self employed contract) work is available in various industries including aggregates, automotive, cement, chemical, concrete, drink, food, glass, handling, packaging, paper, pharmaceutical, power, print, turbines, waste handling and treatment, and many more.

Ideally you will reside in the Birmingham area or will have easy access from the surrounding locations of Coventry, Dudley, Halesowen, Solihull, Stourton, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Telford, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, etc.

Mechanical Fitter Opportunity - Self Employed Contract Basis

Location: Sheffield in South Yorkshire

Contract Term: Long Term

Industry: Heavy Engineering / Steel Equipment Manufacturing

Shift: Day Shifts (Monday - Friday)

Hours: Typical x 48hrs / Week

We are seeking an experienced mechanical fitter to undertake ongoing maintenance and repair work in a Sheffield based steel heavy engineering works. Experience preferred in heavy engineering / forge hammers, or similar environment. This contractor (self employed) position offers a competitive rate of pay along with long term work (most likely of a period of up to 12 months).
